Attention Model Car and Truck builders
The 50th annual Car Show presented by the Draggins Rod & Custom Car Club
will take place at Easter 2010, including a contest for plastic models of cars
and trucks
The main feature will be for models in 1/24th and 1/25th scales (combined)
There are two age groups - JUNIOR (16 years old and under) and SENIOR
and two main classes
Class 1 - Out-Of-The-Box
Only parts and decals supplied in the kit are permitted (except for painting
and paint detailing). Body putty and surfacing liquids (e.g. Mr. Surfacer)
are allowed for fixing flaws.
Class 2 - Detailer
All models that have changes or substitution of any of the original kit
components or have added hoses, wiring, photo-etched items, resin items,
metal foil trim, or any other materials not supplied for installation as per
the kit instructions are considered DETAILED.
Entry into the contest will be included in admission price to the Car Show.
